Hypnotherapy is a relaxing and effective form of therapy that utilises the power of positive suggestion through guided visualisation to bring about subconscious change and shifts to the way you perceive a specific issue.
Hypnosis enables the sub conscious brain to by-pass current mental blocks that may previously have created resistance for you in your life and as a result enables you to experience a different emotional response to previous triggers.
Hypnotherapy is also particularly effective in helping release negative thinking patterns of behaviour and can be extremely helpful in helping heal past trauma or distressing memories.

Anyone can benefit from utilising this type of Therapy and you do not need to be 'creative' as a person to achieve a positive result.
Children or Teens may find Creative Therapy particularly helpful in their sessions.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese Healing Therapy that works to rebalance the bodies energy paths and meridians thereby activating their natural healing processes.
Reiki helps to facilitate and restore the mind and body assisting with mental, physical and emotional well-being.
At Holistic Me, Reiki is used as a stand alone treatment or built into customised appointment sessions as appropriate.
It is a non-invasive practice that does not require you to undress and is carried out while either seated or reclined.
Reiki is deeply relaxing and is a recommended therapy for anyone who is feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stressed out or exhausted.

I began researching Holistic Methods of treatment for Anxiety, Stress and Depression after a period of ill health within my own life.
Back in my early twenties I suffered with bouts of Anxiety, Panic Attacks and feelings of Depression which at the time limited my life massively.
I felt trapped by my feelings and spent years stuck in a vicious cycle of managing my every day life around my symptoms.
No attempt to fix how I was feeling ever got to the root of the problem and it felt like I was living on an exhausting, emotional roller coaster.
Like many people who feel this way I was just desperate to find a way to feel better and be like the old me.
I became inspired to research alternative approaches to Mental Health finding methods that offered the potential to bring about a deeper level of understanding and change for people. This was the first essential step on my Holistic journey and I trained initially as a Holistic Practitioner.
I began to notice significant shifts in my own Mental Health and subsequently that of the people I worked with as clients. I could see the definitive link between the mind and body was the key to creating real change.
3 years later I furthered my studies and trained as a Hypnotherapist in Clinical Hypnotherapy and then went on to qualify as a Mental Wellbeing and Life Coach.
I now successfully utilise a combination of disciplines when working with clients customising their individual sessions to suit to incorporate a complete 360º Holistic approach to their Mental Health.
Each and every person is unique in their needs and expectations of the sessions at Holistic Me but ultimately the end goal for every individual is to alter how they feel for the better and as a result reach a goal that will have an ongoing positive impact on their life.
